W R Davies Toyota Drives Excitement for the 40th Anniversary of the Stafford Half Marathon

In the heart of Staffordshire, anticipation is mounting as the Stafford Half Marathon gears up for its monumental 40th anniversary celebration. Since 2021, W R Davies Toyota has been a steadfast partner of this beloved event, and as the countdown to race day begins, our commitment to supporting our community shines brighter than ever.

Organised by Freedom Leisure and Stafford Borough Council, the Stafford Half Marathon has become a cornerstone of local tradition, drawing participants and spectators alike to Victoria Park for an unforgettable day of camaraderie and achievement.

This year, amidst last-minute adjustments due to adverse weather, W R Davies Toyota is proud to provide a brand-new Toyota Yaris Cross as the event's support vehicle, complete with a mounted race clock expertly driven by Selena Powell, alongside her co-pilot, Caroline. Both Selena and Caroline are veterans at driving the event car, bringing years of experience and expertise to ensure the safety and efficiency of the race.

Among the vibrant atmosphere of the race village, attendees will have the pleasure of meeting Ella Blower, representing W R Davies Toyota with the All-New Toyota C-HR. Ella brings her expertise and enthusiasm to the event, ready to assist runners and spectators alike with any questions they may have. As a knowledgeable member of the W R Davies team, Ella is dedicated to ensuring that everyone's experience at the Stafford Half Marathon is nothing short of exceptional. Whether it's sharing information about the innovative features of the C-HR or simply providing a friendly face amidst the festivities, Ella is committed to making a positive impact on race day. Among the throngs of dedicated participants is Ben Brickley, General Manager from W R Davies Toyota, a passionate runner who's not only tackling the marathon but also raising funds for Dementia UK, embodying the spirit of community and compassion that defines this event. Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity.
