The Proace Verso is an eight-seat people carrier with a sleek and stylish finish, and which is available in a variety of body style and models. Body styles are differentiated by length: the Compact is 4.6 metres; the Medium is 4.8 metres; and the Long 5.3 metres. Shuttle, Family, and VIP models offer a variety of features, with the Long Shuttle offering the maximum nine-seat configuration.
Interior comforts
Inside the cab, the driver has a commanding view of the road. Creature comforts come in the form of a driver armrest, automatic air conditioning, DAB radio, and Bluetooth connectivity, all of which come as standard. There is also the option to upgrade to Toyota Pro-Touch which includes a seven-inch multimedia display with navigation technology.
Safe and sound
The Proace Verso has a superb safety lineup and received a 5-star safety rating when it was tested by Euro NCAP. As standard, all Proace Verso models have twin front airbags, hill-start assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and cruise control with a speed limiter. In the Family and VIP models, Toyota’s Safety Sense pack is included. This active safety and driver assistance technology includes a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Vehicle Stability Control Plus, Traction Control, Hill-Start Assist Control, and an Anti-Lock Braking System with electronic brake force distribution.
Engine options
The all-diesel line-up of 1.6 and 2.0-litre engines means the Proace Verso offers some excellent fuel economy, the most efficient being the 1.6-litre 114bhp engine which returns an impressive fuel efficiency of 54.3 mpg and CO2 emissions of 137 g/km. All the engines come with Stop-Start technology to enhance fuel economy. With excellent fuel economy, a classy interior, and plenty of seating options, the Proace Verso really is versatile.
