The innovative solution created by Ford and partner supplier Inspace, means roadside workers can be seen from any angle even in dark and bad weather, making their time at work safer.
The Electronic High Visibility Panels work using a similar technology to cinema step lights. Phosphorus is placed between two electrodes; an alternating current is then passed through stimulating the phosphorus and causing it to glow.
Electronic High Visibility Panels can be fitted easily to the rear doors of a Ford Transit and operated through a simple flick of a switch.
