W R Davies Toyota Telford, in partnership with Virgin Balloon Flights, attended this year's Telford Balloon and Kite Fiesta 2018. Historically W R Davies Toyota Telford have supported the local businesses in many ways. Maria from Virgin Balloon Flights approached Mark Powell, Sales Manager at W R Davies Toyota Telford, for use of a Toyota Land Cruiser.
Maria from Virgin Balloon Flights PR & Marketing Executive said, “The vast majority of our pilots love their faithful Toyota Land Cruiser, as there isn’t much else out there with the towing power they need to pull our big balloon rigs, or with the added reliability and comfort. Some of our fleet are getting on for 20 years old and still going strong, with their pilots refusing to part with them!”
As a specialist Toyota Business Centre, W R Davies Toyota Telford supply Land Cruiser’s to various business throughout the year. This was an opportunity to showcase the new Toyota Land Cruiser to an audience of 14,000 visitors attending the event.

Maria goes on to say, “The brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser they gave for the event did everything we needed it to and more, spending most of the afternoon and the evening with our big red balloon tethered to it in Telford Town Park arena. So definitely a big thank you to the W R Davies Toyota team for their help. After driving the Toyota Land Cruiser this weekend, it was actually a bit deflating getting back into my own little car for work this morning!”
